2015, Lowest-Class Civil Servant's Salary Rp 12 M

In addition to providing the Regional Performance Allowance (TKD), starting in 2015, Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama will set a salary of Rp 12 million per month to Civil Servants (PNS) in the lowest class. It will be applied if the functional performance system has been applied.

" Every civil servant's performance will be evaluated and calculated per point. I guess the salary of Rp 12 million per month is enough ," said Ahok, on the sidelines of interactive dialogue titled "Women Empowerment and Gender Equality in Development of Cultured Peoples, at City Hall, Wednesday (12/3).

He revealed the functional working mechanism will be applied in next year after the organizational structure in Jakarta government is overhauled.

"In the early stage, the functional working mechanism is planned to be applied at the office of one-stop integrated service (PTSP) at the level of urban village, sub-district, and mayor," he expressed.

Head of Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD), I Made Karmayoga explained the functional position will be expanded next year. Later on, the civil servant performance is measured in accordance with its work.

 

"For instance, he/she makes a decree letter, one letter worth 10 points. If 5 decree letters can be made in a day, every employee will get 50 points. Each point will be multiplied a few money. It becomes dynamic benefits to them besides static allowances as the TKD in accordance with the employee class," he explained

Additionally, one of positions is the head section would be replaced in accordance with professional experts. "For instance, section head under Head of Museum Technical Management Unit (TKD) changed to kuratoe, geologists, and historians. We cut its position and then developed as long as the experts have a certificate," he finished.
