Heru Budi Hartono, Head of Jakarta Regional Financial Management Body (BPKD) ensured that civil servant's salary under Jakarta Provincial Government will be disbursed this afternoon. As for the allowance, is planned to be paid off in the February.

"I'd summoned DKI Bank Director to disburse the salary of civil servant soon. Please be patient, we will transfer it to your (civil servant) account this afternoon," he said, at City Hall, Thursday (1/8).

The total of salary is reaching Rp 241.339 billion and it already includes wife and child allowance. Totally, Jakarta government has 70,049 employees. While the wife allowance give to 51,396 people and 62,178 children.

While the positional allowance, is still waiting for the process of data collection by Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD). "Perhaps, its payment will be done in February," he expressed.

According to him, it is reasonable thing, considering mass reshuffle conducted on January 2. "It's just late three or four days, instead of one month. As you know, civil servants are spoiled," he asserted.

The salary is commonly paid on the first day. If the date coincides with a holiday, it will be paid at in the next date. "Yesterday or January 1 is a day off and then inauguration on January 2. Thus the salary is normally paid on January 5. Its delay is not too" he uttered.

He apologized to civil servants over the delay of salary payment. This is his party should be cautious in inputting employee data to avoid mistakes. "I apologize for the delay. I have carefully. I don't want to do mistake," stated the former mayor of North Jakarta.
