The Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) won awards and appreciation at the peak celebration of the 2022 National Tax Day.

The award and appreciation were given by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani and Taxes Director General Suryo Utomo. They assessed that Bapenda has made an extraordinary contribution to the Directorate General of Taxes regarding tax reform.
The category of awards won by Bapenda Jakarta are agencies, institutions, and associations (ILAP), and other parties for their support and contributions related to increasing data certainty in tax reform.

Jakarta Bapenda Head Lusiana Herawati added the award and appreciation is a form of collaboration and synergy between the central and local governments to optimize revenue from the tax sector.
"This collaboration and synergy are in the form of data exchange, cooperation in developing Human Resources (HR) competencies, and regulatory reforms," she stated.
