Transjakarta signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT KAI about strategic collaboration at Borobudur Hotel, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (6/15).

We have the vision to be the best transportation ecosystem for Indonesia

The signing was executed by PT KAI President Director Didi Hartianto and PT Transjakarta President Director M Yana Adiitya.

PT KAI President Director Didi Hartantio said that the MoU signing started with Transjakarta's invitation last week to discuss the potential for cooperation in several fields.

"We have the vision to be the best transportation ecosystem for Indonesia. That's why I immediately welcomed it, this is a good achievement for us," he expressed.

After the signing, he hoped that they could put together a team to conduct studies and set service benchmarks. He then also conveyed the expectations of both parties that collaboration would not only be integrated into infrastructure but also targeted at the managerial level.

'That means customers only tap once between trains and Transjakarta," he explained.

PT Transjakarta President Director M Yana Aditya uttered that he would soon follow up the MoU with technical work by an integrated team.

"There are three focuses, namely integrating intermodal services, studying the possibility of corporate cooperation, and how to increase cooperation in the TOD sector," he stated.
