Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head Penty Yunesi said the 2,241 pets vaccinated were from eight sub-districts in Central Jakarta.

Anti-Rabies Vaccines Given to 65 Animals in MentengOf 2,241 pets, 1,834 were cats, 393 dogs, 12 monkeys, and two ferrets.
"This vaccination is a routine agenda that aims to protect the city of Jakarta as a rabies-free area, as well as maintain animal health and provide a sense of security for residents," she explained.
She added that it was free of charge.
"This year, as many as 5,000 pets are targeted to receive a rabies vaccination. Alhamdulillah, the enthusiasm of the residents is getting higher to bring their pets to be vaccinated for rabies when we open the service," he closed.
