300 SMEs Enliven Djakarta Festival at GBK Stadium

Around 300 SMEs from various regions participate in the Djakarta Festival event initiated by the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) East Parking, from August 26 to 28, 2022.

Jakarta Kadin Chairperson Diana Dewi said about 120 booths were selling various products, ranging from food, beverages, crafts, and fashion.
She the event presented various activities and entertainment such as Djakarta Fashion Week, Marching Band, Live Performance, and others.

According to her, it was done to recover SMEs' economies that have been hit hard by Covid-19 for two years.
"We hope that many visitors will attend, thus economic growth can be seen starting to grow. We'll continue to support them (MSME)," she stressed.
One of the SMEs, Sudarsono from Bina Daksa Budi Bhakti Social House admitted that he was happy to participate in the event. He hopes to get a bigger profit than usual and can introduce the products of the orphans to the community.
"There are about 50 productive people here. They make various products including bags, beads, mini ondel-ondel (Betawi effigies), and others. They are sold from Rp 25,000 to 150,000," he admitted.
Then one of the visitors from East Jakarta, Imas Listyaningsih assessed that the event was worth a visit, as it offered a lot of products and presented an entertainment stage that was interesting to enjoy.
