That amount is equivalent to 90.54 percent of the target for the National Child Immunization Month (BIAN) in Jakarta, which is set at 715,786 children.
Jakarta Dinkes Head Widyastuti said that this success was due to the collaboration of all regional apparatus organizations (OPD) from the provincial to the sub-district level, including people who were aware of the importance of the rubella measles vaccine.

She explained that her party was continuing various strategies to increase the coverage of additional measles-rubella immunization. Among them was by sweeping RT/RW, posyandu (integrated health services post), PAUD, and school on weekdays, as well as parks and open green spaces in the morning and evening.
On weekends, BIAN services were opened in public places that were visited by toddlers and crowded locations.
"Maybe there are residents who don't want to go to the health center so we open services at RT/RW offices, mosques, crowded locations, tourist attractions such as Kota Tua, TIM, Ancol, and shopping centers," she explained.
In the activity, the sub-district and health center coordinators determined the location of the Rapid Convenience Assessment (RCA) and conducted a BIAN sweeping.
The regional coordinator would then report the results of daily sweeping in each location and the number of children with priority areas of crowd, densely populated flats, and slum areas.
"If there are still people who think immunization is haram, we will show a video of the chairmen of the MUI and DMI. At the same time, we give a telephone number that can be contacted if the patient changes their mind," she asserted.
She also collaborated with various elements to intensify health promotion through mosque loudspeakers, banners, radio, videotron, mass media, and others.
"All collaborator vaccine centers and hospitals to public clinics that open Covid-19 vaccines must also open BIAN services," she added.
