Three Days, KPKP Agency Earns Rp 131,191,959 in Jumat Beli Lokal Program

The Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Agency which collaborates with local e-commerce firm Tokopedia has recorded that they have managed to reap an income by Rp 131,191,959 in the Jumat Beli Lokal (JBL) program. 115 MSMEs are participating in the activity that promotes 1,568 products.

Jakarta KPKP Agency Head, Suharini Eliawati disclosed that there were 319 transactions recorded in three days. Consumers were able to buy MSME products on Wednesday (9/21) and Thursday (9/22) through the Jakpreneur Official Store in the Tokopedia marketplace.

As for the JBL live shopping which was broadcast via Instagram Live on @jakpreneur and live shopping on Tokopedia Play took place on Friday (9/23) from 10 AM to 11 AM.

Live shopping was getting more lively as it presented guest stars, musician Dik Doan, and MSMEs who are now joining Jakpreneur, Sherrin Tharia.

"We appreciate all parties who participate in supporting the rise of MSMEs, especially Jakpreneur as the driving force of the economy in Jakarta," she said, Sunday (9/24).

Besides improving access to marketing for MSME products, it was also in line with the MSME's mission to go digital, as it was held on various social media and digital shopping platforms.

The products offered were superior products produced by Jakpreneurs throughout Jakarta area, ranging from food, drinks, ornamental plants, orchids, aquascape, clothes, and crafts.

"Seeing this, the Jakarta administration prompts Jakartans to support MSMEs. Promotion and marketing like this will have a positive effect on increasing production, income, and even the quality of Jakpreneur's superior products," she concluded.

As for the information, JBL is the administration's collaborative effort in developing MSMEs in Jakarta that brings together producers and markets in one virtual platform adapting the concept of live shopping.

It presents a variety of superior products which are held every Friday. All customers are offered various products ranging from culinary, ornamental plants, and fashion, to crafts at special prices.
