East Jakarta Sees Rise in Covid-19, Residents Urged to Be Disciplined in Implementing PHBS

It is better to avoid crowds and stay at home

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar urges residents to remain disciplined in implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) as well as health protocols.

The statement aims to anticipate the spread of diseases in the rainy season such as Dengue Fever and Leptospirosis. Aside that, health protocols must also be implemented thus Covid-19 cases do not spike again.

"The government doesn't prohibit community activities. But, when we are unwell, it is better to avoid crowds and stay at home," he expressed, Friday (11/18).

He also reminded residents who have not been vaccinated to immediately get vaccinated at existing health service centers, such as health centers (Puskesmas), General Hospital (RSUD), and other healthcare services.

"Currently, the vaccine stock is very sufficient. Residents don't need to worry about vaccine shortages," he stated.
