Inundation at Four Points in Jagakarsa Receded

Luckily, no victims

Joint personnel from various regional apparatus organizations (OPD) assisted by PPSU were deployed to handle inundation at four points in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.

Those four points were spread across Jalan Balai Rakyat, RT 09/02, Jalan Jagakarsa Daya, RT 13/02, Jalan H Garie, and Jalan Rawa Cupang.

Jagakarsa Sub-district Head, Santoso said the inundation at these four points occurred at around 4:56 PM when the area was hit by heavy rain. On Jalan Balai Rakyat RT 09/02 for instance, the inundation height reached 15 centimeters.

The same condition was also spotted on Jalan Jagakarsa Raya RT 13/02 with a water level of 15 centimeters, Jalan H Garie with a water level of 44 centimeters, and Jalan Rawa Cupang with a water level of 20 centimeters.

"We deploy around 24 personnel to the location," he expressed, Tuesday (11/29).

Aside that, the personnel also evacuated a fallen tree on Jalan Kebagusan Raya, RT 04/03, Jagakarsa.

"The fallen tree was successfully evacuated by officers. Luckily, no victims," he closed.
