The overflowed of Pesanggrahan River due to high rain intensity has inundated the Cipulir Market, South Jakarta since Friday (1/23) morning by 30 cm.
There was almost no buyer today due to flood
This condition is surely disturb the trading activity in one of textile markets in Jakarta. The merchant's turnover is predicted decrease up to 50 percent due to small buyers amount.
Aini (40), one of the sport clothing merchants, admitted the flood started to inundate at 6 AM from the back side of her kiosk. The water then gradually inundated the front side also.

Nuning (37), one of the shoppers, complained this condition. She suggested that the road between the kiosk is elevated to avoid the water.
The water also submerged the ITC Cipulir parking area across the Cipulir market. There was only one car parked there.
