Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono asked that the fulfillment of clean water for the basic needs of residents must be met properly.
"As of February 1, 2023, I request and ensure that the 100 percent transfer of PAM Jaya has no complaints from the public," he expressed, while attending and witnessing the signing of the PAM Jaya Employee Offering Letter at the Jakarta International Equestrian Park (JIEP), Pulogadung, East Jakarta, Wednesday (12/7).

"In 2024, we are the host regarding water resistance. This is an encouragement for all of us, thus all corners of Jakarta can get clean water which is part of our lives," he expressed.
As for the information, PAM Jaya recruited 1,097 employees of Palyja and Aetra as part of the company's efforts to ensure there were no layoffs and uninterrupted services after the end of their collaboration on February 1, 2023.
He appreciated PAM Jaya's commitment to continously prioritize and maintain work opportunities for partner employees.
"I thank everyone who supported this. Thus, 1,097 employees from the two companies have directly become employees of PAM Jaya," he said.
Perumda PAM President Director, Arief Nasrudin expressed that the recruitment of 1,097 employees from Aetra and Palyja is a series of an unavoidable transition process. PAM Jaya will take over the operation and distribution of water in Jakarta from its partners Palyja and Aetra.
He explained that Perumda PAM Jaya has offered and opened its doors, as wide as possible to those who want to work and make a positive contribution
"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), the numbers are high enough to be close to 95 percent for them to join us," he utterred.
He added that PAM Jaya's commitment to recruiting Palyja and Aetra employees is part of the company's efforts to ensure there were no layoffs. Perumda PAM Jaya offered the same position to participants from Palyja and Aetra and career paths were open to all.
"This is a new spirit and hope and an activity that drives the economy which can then be maintained," he stated.
