Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono met with the Jakarta Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU) Regional Management, which was located on Jalan Utan Kayu Raya, Matraman, East Jakarta, Wednesday (10/26).

The meeting itself was attended by Jakarta PWNU Rais Syuriah Vice Chairperson, KH. Endin Aj Sofiehara; Jakarta PWNU Tanfidziyah Chairperson, KH. Samsul Ma'arif; Jakarta PWNU Secretary, H.M. Bahauddin; and administrators of PWNU Jakarta. There was also Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Member, Syarif.
Acting Governor revealed that the meeting was conducted in order to strengthen communication and synergy between the Jakarta Provincial Government and PWNU.

"I'm obliged to come and visit PWNU and I need the support of all levels of the Jakarta PWNU management. We can discuss, and provide input and suggestions. That's the most important thing to me," he stressed.
He went on to say that the Jakarta Government was ready to support all activities of Jakarta PWNU. To maintain communication, his party would often visit PWNU Branch Management in each region to receive input and suggestions.
"By doing so, we can establish communication smoothly and I would like to introduce myself as the Acting Governor who needs your support to run this government,' he continued.
Jakarta PWNU Tanfidziyah Chairperson, KH. Samsul Ma'arif explained that PWNU is always ready to provide support to the government, including the Jakarta Government under the leadership of Heru.
"We're ready to support and help you. For instance, when Covid-19 occurred, PWNU worked optimally and supported the government, including giving a fatwa decision. Hopefully, the current Acting Governor can bring Jakarta even more forward,' he closed.
