Jalan Sudirman - Thamrin Totally Closed at 8 PM

Starting at 8 PM, the roads along Sudirman - Thamrin are completely closed

The closure of Jalan Sudirman - Thamrin will be applied in stages starting Saturday (12/31) at 6 PM.

It is done to support Car Free Night (CFN) activities for Muda Mudi Festival (Youngster Night) along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman - Jalan MH Thamrin from 8 PM - 2 AM on January 1, 2023.

"There are around 20 access roads around Sudirman - Thamrin which will be closed," expressed Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head, Syafrin Liputo, at Bundaran HI, Saturday (12/31).

Those 20 access roads closed are Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan MH Thamrin, Jalan Pintu 1 Senayan, Jalan Bendungan Hilir, Jalan KH Mas Mansyur, Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Timur, Kupingan Kolong Sudirman, Jalan Kota Bumi, Jalan Batu Raja, Jalan Teluk Betung, Jalan Kebon Kacang.

Then Jalan Sunda, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Jalan Sumenep Tosari, Jalan Setiabudi, Jalan Prof Dr. Satrio, Jalan Masjid (Sampoerna), Jalan Garnisun, Under Semanggi, Slow Lane of Kupingan Semanggi (Gatsu), SCBD, and Jalan Tulodong Atas II next to CIMB.

"Starting at 8 PM, the roads along Sudirman - Thamrin are completely closed," he stressed.

Then crossing access from east to west and vice versa, there are still several roads that can be accessed such as Jalan Gatot Subroto (Semanggi), Karet Flyover, and under Dukuh Atas. Then from the north side of Jalan Wahid Hasyim ends to Jalan Budi Kemuliaan section then crosses to Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan.

"By so, community mobility can be facilitated properly," he uttered.
