"In this new year, let's start with a new spirit, an innovation, and a new strategy to jointly advance the wheels of the economy in Jakarta, both conventionally and digitally, everything must be optimized (in business). Hence, I hope business people are open to technological developments," he explained.
Previously, President Jokowi said he wanted to ensure that the economic sector was on a good start, such as; the production market in the regions, especially in Jakarta.
He wanted 2023 to be a good start, thus Indonesia's wheels will continue to grow, exceeding the achievements of 2022.
"I want to see that optimism exists in 2023, as 2022 is a moment of struggle that won't be easy. The hope is that there will be that optimism, as the PPKM has been revoked. The impact of it is not only in Tanah Abang Market but also in 16 downstream markets (all over Indonesia). Earlier, some traders expressed the hope that their turnover would increase from before, even technological developments could facilitate the process of buying and selling activities," he concluded.
