Repairs to the channel on Jalan Muara Karang Timur, RW 16, Pejagalan Urban Village, Penjaringan, which have been carried out by North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Task Force since January 19 2023 are targeted to be completed in early February.

Penjaringan Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Pendi said that the channel that has 45 meters long and 60 centimeters high was repaired, as its sheet pile was collapsed.

"We send eight workers to the location every day," he expressed, Tuesday (1/24).

He added it was carried out to follow up on residents report in the 2021 Musrenbang. This proposas was then inputted in the 2022 planning and realized in 2023.

"Hopefully, it can be completed in early February," he hoped.

RW 16 Pejagalan Urban Village Chairman, Eko Haryanto appreciated the work done by the Penjaringan Sub-district SDA Task Force.

"Hopefully, after the repair is done, it can minimize inundation when it rains," he stated.
