1,944 Damaged Roads in Kelapa Gading Repaired

The North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency has noted that as many as 1,944 damaged roads or potholes have been repaired from January to August 2022.

The highest level of damage occurred during the rainy season from January to March

Kelapa Gading Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Ismail Daru said the repair was made to create a sense of safety for motorists and avoid traffic accidents, especially two-wheeled vehicles.

"The highest level of damage occurred during the rainy season from January to March," he expressed, Monday (9/12).

Damaged Roads in Pulogebang Being Repaired

Of 1,943 damaged roads, 426 of them (1,041 square meters wide) were repaired in January, 391 (1,843 square meters wide) were in February, 247 (1,809.6 square meters wide) were in March, 178 (3,082.2 square meters wide) were in April, 178 (1,344.3 square meters wide) were in May, 206 (1,655.9 square meters wide) were in June.

Then 133 (1,021.8 square meters wide) were in July and 165 (1,058.32 square meters wide) were in August.

As for the depth of the potholes at each road location varied from 4-5 centimeters to the deepest of about 10 centimeters. Then the extent of damage to road points repaired varied from a dozen to hundreds of centimeters at each road point.

"We always carry out routine checks in the field. If the damage is found, we will repair it immediately," he stressed.
