Acting Governor Heru Inaugurates Skywalk Kebayoran

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, inaugurated the Skywalk Kebayoran in South Jakarta today, Friday (1/27), which aims to improve public facilities and infrastructure to facilitate people to access and use public transportation modes.

This futuristic bridge integrates several public facilities such as Velbak Corridor 13 Transjakarta bus stop, Pasar Kebayoran Lama Corridor 8 Transjakarta bus stop, and Kebayoran Commuter Line Station.

According to him, integrating public facilities through the skywalk could make it easier for people to switch modes of public transportation.

"I inaugurated the Skywalk Kebayoran for public use, so please maintain and use it properly. Talk about security, I want Mr. Mayor to instruct Satpol PP and urban village, including officers of Transportation Agency," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Friday (1/27).

The Jakarta Provincial Government was also committed to realizing Jakarta as a livable city for all elements of society, including residents with disabilities, children, and families by providing optimally integrated services through synergy with various stakeholders of Jakarta.

"To all parties, please help maintain public facilities for mutual comfort and the beauty of Jakarta," he added.

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency Head, Hari Nugroho uttered that the inauguration of the Skywalk Kebayoran was an essential moment for the comfort and convenience of the community.

"This is a breakthrough, to facilitate the mobility of people to their destination. Surely,  this is very meaningful and it has 420 meters long and becomes a long sector," he stated.
