Kemenhub Makes Study Comparison to Jakarta Diskominfotik

The Jakarta Communication and Public Information Bureau of the Transportation Ministry (Kemenhub) conducted a comparative study with the Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics (Diskominfotik) Agency at Jakarta City Hall.

Communication and Public Information Bureau for Kemenhub Head, Hartanto stated this comparative study aims to share information and knowledge related to management and public communication services. He appreciated the Jakarta administration for successively winning national public relations achievements.

"We should appreciate the public relations potential of the administration for being the overall champion. Hence, we want to explore and learn from public relations," he expressed, Monday (1/30).

According to him, three things became a comparison for Kemenhub's public relations, including how to manage information, operate public relations, and the organizational structure and recruitment of professionals.

"We will follow in the administration's footsteps in public relations. All of our questions were answered. Even though time is hindered, we will hold further discussions in the future," he expressed.

Diskominfotik's Public Communication Division Head, Nuruning Septarida felt proud, that the Kemenhub eyed the Jakarta administration's public relations. Previously, the administration also received the title of overall winner at the 2022 Public Relations Media Award (AMH) initiated by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemenkominfo).

"They see that we got the overall winner in 2022. So, they want to learn and practice how to manage public communication properly and well," she explained.

She added that this visit could motivate the administration's public relations to continuously innovate and maintain the achievements obtained so far.

"Our hard work results have received support and appreciation from the central government. We are only at the regional government level," he said.
