Thousands of participants will compete in the Jakarta Martial Arts competition for Jakarta Acting Governor's Cup at the Ciracas Sports Hall (GOR), East Jakarta.

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono expressed that the Jakarta Martial Arts competition is also used as a place to find talented fighters in Jakarta. During an audience with Indonesian Martial Arts Championship (IPSC) Coach, M Syarif at City Hall, Thursday (2/9).
"With this event, it means providing room for competition among novice fighters. Thus, later they can become professionals, as they come from various universities," he expressed, Thursday (9/2).

In the meantime, the event would compete for the Jakarta Acting Governor's Cup.

He added the participants who registered until today reached 1,800 participants from a total quota of 2,000 participants.
"We also divide classes or age categories, such as the 3 to 6-year PAUD category, Under 10-year Elementary School (SD), 10 to 12-year Elementary School, 13 to 16-year Middle School (SMP), and 16 to 18-year Senior High School (SMA)," he uttered.
Seeing several participants booming, he was not so surprised. Moreover, there are many martial arts colleges, clubs, and extra-curricular activities that are of interest to the participants.
