1,105 Trees in Central Jakarta Pruned

Tree pruning is a routine agenda to anticipate fallen trees when it rains

The Central Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency has noted that as many as 1,105 trees in Central Jakarta have been pruned from January 1 to February 3, 2023.

"Tree pruning is a routine agenda to anticipate fallen trees when it rains," expressed Green Belt and Cemetery Division Head, Budi Hidayat, Friday (2/10).

January 2023, 667 Trees in West Jakarta Pruned

Of 1,105 trees pruned, 172 were pruned at light level, 644 were pruned at medium level, and 283 were pruned at heavy level. While the rest were cut down.

"They are pruned to follow up on residents' reports and sweeping results in the field," he stated.

It was also carried out to maintain the beauty of the green belt area and roads in Central Jakarta.

"Including anticipating fallen trees when rain accompanied by strong winds occurred," he closed.
