2,341 Trees in South Jakarta Pruned

This action involves sub-district and city-level task force personnel

The South Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency has noted that they have pruned 2,341 trees prone to fall spread across 10 sub-districts from January to February 7, 2023.

South Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency Head, Elly Sugestianingsih said that tree pruning is a routine agenda to anticipate unwanted things, especially during heavy rain and strong winds.

1,105 Trees in Central Jakarta Pruned

"This action involves sub-district and city-level task force personnel," she said, Monday (2/13).

Of 2,341 trees, 425 were pruned at minor level, 1,364 were pruned at medium level,m 479 were pruned at heavy level, and 73 were cut down.

"Hopefully, it can create a sense of security and comfort to residents," he stated.
