Four infiltration wells which are built by Seriu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency in the residential area, RT 01/05, Pramuka Island, Panggang Island, North Seribu Islands, finally completed, Sunday (2/19).
Seribu Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri said the infiltration well was built to anticipate inundation in the residential area, RT 01/05, Pramuka Island.

He explained it was also done to follow up on residents' reports. "They reported it and we immediately followed up. Because from the results of the location survey, there has been no absorption of rainwater," he explained.
Aside that, those four wells were built using six-inch PVC pipes with 18.6 meters long and 40x40x50 centimeters in diameter.
"Every 10 meters distance of these wells are connected using a pipe. Hope the residential here will be free of inundation in the future," he hoped.
