Seribu Islands Regent Hopes IBG Can Intensify Marine Tourism

Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi visited the Indonesia Boating Gathering (IBG) Business Matching 2023 exhibition at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2023, Jiexpo Kemayoran.

According to him, this exhibition is a form of synergy between the Indonesian Community for Maritime Studies (CMSI) and the Seribu Islands District Government. The presence of IBG is also expected to provide opportunities for industry activists in the marine tourism sector.
"We support this exhibition, especially IIMS, the most luxurious exhibition. This is one step to promote the tourism industry, especially marine tourism," he expressed, Tuesday (2/21).

"We hope it will be successful. Hopefully, it can have an impact on the Seribu Islands' economy which have marine tourism destinations," he hoped
CMSI Non-Profit Foundation Supervisory Board, Mohamad Firman Santoso said the presence of IBG is to provide an opportunity to create synergy from maritime industry stakeholders in maritime revival in Indonesia.
"Besides increasing public awareness, we also promote marine tourism culture. We introduce a marine tourism lifestyle, including facilitating the growth of the marine tourism industry and its supports," he explained.
His party had invited the Seribu Islands Regent, as the host he was in charge of the islands in Jakarta. His party hopes to continuously establish strong synergy with the Seribu Islands District Administration.
"We saw the enthusiasm of visitors when they visited our booth. This means that marine tourism is still in great demand by the public," he said.
