Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Didajat revealed that flood in the capital should be resolved using advanced technology. To optimize it, there must be the support of all parties.

That's why, through regional leadership communication forum (forkopimda), all the existing problems must be faced together," said Djarot after he attended a ceremony for solidarity of Indonesian Army, Police, Jakarta Provincial Government, in the Infantry Brigade Field 17/Kujang I Divif I Kostrad Kalisari, Cijantung, East Jakarta, Tuesday (2/17).

He uttered, the togetherness is proven to be beneficial to all parties thus public can be protected. As in the case of flood prevention, where the whole range of army/police, Jakarta government and residents work together to solve it.
In future, he continued, the advanced technology is very important to tackle flood in the city.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Air Force Operations Commander, Air Vice Marshal Agus Dwi Putranto who led the ceremony expressed the army will fully support the Jakarta government's step in tackling flooding and creating public order.
"Such an agenda must be continued, that is by holding a gathering dated on 17. Thus, the forum is solid and strong in facing problems in Jakarta. Surely, this ceremony coupled with real action in the field, like flood handling," he said.
