Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama 'Ahok' appreciates Go-Jek, an application to help Jakarta citizen to get easy and cheap transportation in form of ojek (motorcycle taxi). Ahok hoped Go-Jek can integrate with Transjakarta bus in order to help the Jakarta citizen who need acceleration and accuracy time.

According to him, PT Go-Jek Indonesia and Transjakarta can cooperate each other and make a deal with a contract. In addition, an application through s smartphone could be used to ride Transjakarta bus with monthly tariff system.

Basuki explained with mobile application intelligent transport, Jakarta citizen will be easy to call this ojek service. Moreover they also pay company tax as income tax.
"So that's why we want to integrate with Transjakarta, and also double-decker bus. Hence whenever people disembark from the bus they knew the presence of the bus, and the ojek. So that the Jakarta citizen will decide whether take bus or ojek which faster," he explained.
CEO PT Go-Jek Indonesia Nadiem Makarim revealed that Jakarta citizen can download this Go-Jek application thru playstore and apple store.
That application is an innovative technology that can improve ojek driver's welfare.
He added, Go-Jek application has been downloaded 50,000 times and almost 2,000 ojek drivers have joined around Jabodetabek.
"They (ojek driver) are as a partner. We are philanthropy company. So we only help them to get customer based on location with the fare Rp 4,000 per kilometer with minimum payment Rp 25,000," he uttered.
