241 People Register for Free Mudik in Central Jakarta

"I'm very happy to get free mudik to Tegal this year," he said, Friday (3/24).
Nur Majid Farid Nizar (33), a resident of RW 08 Johar Baru was happy with the free mudik program. This program lightened his burden on expenses in terms of purchasing tickets.
"I will go home to Semarang with my wife and child. Thank God, I got a barcode ticket on April 17 and will return on April 28, 2023," he expressed.
Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Wildan Anwar explained that to support the program, a service post was set up on the ground floor of his office building.
"There are 15 officers who direct and input data from prospective travelers," he explained.
Since registration for free mudik program opened from March 23-24, 2023, there have been 241 people who have registered in 19 cities and regencies such as Solo, Purwokerto, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Tegal, and Lampung.
"They have registered online, verified and have received a ticket in the form of a barcode," he uttered.
