Heru Leads Meeting for Concept of 78th Independence Day Celebrations in Jakarta

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono led a meeting to discuss the concept of the 78th Independence Day celebrations at Merdeka Palace and other supporting facilities at Jakarta City Hall, Monday (3/27).

There will be entertainment activities at Monas by setting up a stage around Bundaran HI

The meeting was attended by State Secretariat Ministry; Home Ministry; Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP); Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry; Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Ministry; and OPD under Jakarta Provincial Government.

He explained that it was held to ensure the readiness of a series of activities to welcome the 78th Independence Day.

"Despite it's still long, I'm still part of the committee. Thus, it must be well prepared. We discuss additional activities and series to make it even more lively," he expressed.

He added that the Jakarta Government would also celebrate the Independence Day celebrations by holding a series of events located at Monas and Bundaran HI. He promised there would be a surprise for Jakartans at the event.

"There will be entertainment activities at Monas by setting up a stage around Bundaran HI. There will be something surprising for the public to see," he stated.
