Ahok said the new system can record passenger candidates get in through certain stops and get the bus. "That would mean, our e-ticketing hasn't completed yet, as it can record people get in only," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (2/23).
He hopes it can record passengers get in or get off, thus its number can be known properly. "We need to tap when passengers get off from the bus. That is why, I want it can do recording to know the passengers who get in or get off," he told.
He revealed, the passenger data is very important as evaluation material. "We want to create a new route that makes people no need to get in or get off, including preparing more bus," he stressed.
As simply known, PT Transjakarta officially applied such system throughout Transjakarta bus corridor. Its launching on 12 corridors held at the Manggarai Transjakarta bus stop, Saturday (2/21).
PT Transjakarta Director, Antonius NS Kosasih disclosed the system throughout busway corridors was applied gradually on August 1, 2014.
