Dishub Applies Trial Traffic Diversion at Intersection of Jalan Wijaya I - Jalan Wolter Monginsidi

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) is implementing a trial traffic diversion at the intersection of Jalan Wijaya I - Jalan Wolter Monginsidi - Jalan Suryo (Santa Traffic Light). It aims to deal with congestion on these roads.

I call on the road users to avoid these road sections

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo said the trial traffic diversion at the intersection of Jalan Wijaya I - Jalan Wolter Monginsidi - Jalan Suryo (Santa Traffic Light) will start from April 5 to 12, 2023.

"It is carried out by closing down the Wijaya I Intersection - Jalan Wolter Monginsidi - Jalan Suryo," he expressed, Thursday (4/6).

In this case, traffic from the South (Jalan Wijaya Wijaya I/Antasari) heading East (Tendean) is diverted to turn left onto Jalan Wolter Monginsidi - turn right at the intersection of Jalan Gunawarman - Jalan Senopati - Jalan Suryo - and so on or the motorists can go through Jalan Prof Joko Sutono - Gunawarman Street - Senopati Street - Suryo Street - and so on.

Then for users of the 9H Transjakarta bus on Cipedak - Blok M route, which is currently being trialled for University of Indonesia - Blok M route, re-routing routes will be carried out with the following routes:

a. Blok M - University of Indonesia's Blok M - Jalan Sultan Hasanuddin - Jalan Trunojoyo - Jalan Gunawarman - Jalan Suryo - Jalan Rompin Tendean - Jalan Raya Gatot Subroto - Jalan Raya Pasar Minggu - Jalan Raya Tanjung Barat - Jalan Raya Lenteng Agung - University of Indonesia

b. Universitas Indonesia - Universitas of Indonesia's Blok M - Jalan Lenteng Agung Raya - Jalan Raya Tanjung Barat - Jalan Raya Pasar Minggu - Jalan Gatot Subroto - Jalan Botol Tendean - Jalan Wolter Monginsidi - Jalan Trunojoyo - Jalan Panglima Polim - Blok M

"I call on the road users to avoid these road sections and be able to adjust to the set traffic diversion, comply with traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field and prioritize road safety," he stated.
