Basuki Requested Entrepreneurs to Donate 300 Buses

They (entrepreneurs) wanted to donate the bus fleet. I say that if you want to donate, you have to provide 300 units

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama requested assistance to entrepreneurs to donate 300 bus fleet. The fleet itself will be used for the improvement of mass transportation in the capital.

"They (entrepreneurs) wanted to donate the bus fleet. I say that if you want to donate, you have to provide 300 units," expressed Ahok after he met with the directors of T-Phone, Telkomsel, and Roda Mas, City Hall, Thursday (2/26).

City Ready to Receive Grant of 30 Buses

According to him, the T-Phone management wanted to donate the bus fleet in the forms of double-decker bus. Yet, he did not know how many bus that will be donated.  

"Previously, the company had donated some units and have been operating. And this year, they intend to donate other units to us," he told.

Ahok also believes it would not have the same fate as the buses that were granted by Tahir Foundation. Moreover, Jakarta Provincial Government has given the proper classification of types of buses in the capital in order to prevent unwanted things.
