Djarot Wants 2015 Budget can Be Used Soon

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat expected the Home Ministry could approve the 2015 City Budget (APBD). Thus, the budget can be used as soon as possible.

"We respect the members of Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s action concerning the filling of inquiry rights. Where is the problem actually? Let us finish it. For us, the important is the budget must be approved," expressed Djarot, at City Hall, Friday (2/27).

He disclosed that the correction on the draft budget was complete. By so, the evaluation process is hoped to be completed soon, thus all pending programs could be applied. "We had sent the draft to the ministry yesterday. We're just waiting for improvement," he stressed.

APBD Disbursed, PNS to Work Optimally

Regarding filling of inquiry rights from legislative, he asserted, Jakarta Provincial Government will not form a special team. His party choses to stay focused work to develop and serve Jakartans.

"Expectedly, the budget problem will be resolved. We want to overcome the flood and congestion problem, as well as strength bureaucracy. The fast work is better," he stated.

Previously, the regional working unit (SKPD) was also been warned by him. They have to act and not remain silent awaiting approval from the ministry. They were asked to prepare all the documents related to the implementation of activities. If the budget can be used, its process will be run directly, either through tender, e-catalog or e-purchasing.
