Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat casually responds the Legislative Council (DPRD) that collected 75 percent of signatures from 8 fractions to form a questionnaire rights committee concerning the City Budget (APBD) that addressed to Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama. Djarot said, to demote Jakarta Governor does not an easy matter, even though the legislative could conduct it through the questionnaire rights.
"This is not an easy matter. But, it's okay they (legislative) had the right. Just do it, we will prepare the answer," he stated, at City hall, Monday (2/23).
Djarot: APBD Absorption This Year will Be BetterAccording to Djarot, the city administration already done the right procedure on the submission of the 2015 City Budget to the Ministry of Home. Then all process sent to the ministry.
"Yes, I'm sure this is right. Because the budget been through the right process. Actually it leads to the ministry, and we just wait whether they can process the budget or not, considering it was ratified," he uttered.
According to him, the polemic broke out because there are different perceptions between executive and legislative. He hoped the problem could be solved soon, thus the budget can be used.
He also claimed have communicated with some council members. Yet, he did not attempt to stop such right due to it is the legislative's right.
"Just use the right, it's okay. I do not anticipate it and let it goes the flow. But remember, the budget had been ratified and only need approval," he explained.
