Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono gave awards to athletes from Jakarta who won achievements at the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam, 2022. On this occasion, he sent his appreciation and advised the athletes not to become complacent about the results that had been achieved.

My message is, keep up the enthusiasm for training and chase your dreams in more prestigious events. again. We (Jakarta Government) will keep supporting existing sports talents to reach their best potential," he concluded.
Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency Head, Andri Yansah explained this bonus was given to increase motivation to achieve higher achievements.
"The honor and pride of the nation and state is prioritized and far more important, but with bonuses, it will be one of the concerns for outstanding athletes," he added.
As for the information, at the 31st SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam, 499 athletes from Indonesia participated, of which 123 (24%) came from Jakarta. Indonesia won 69 gold, 91 silver, and 81 bronze medals, of which 31 gold medals (45%) were contributed by athletes from Jakarta. It brings Jakarta the biggest contributor in its contribution to national sports achievements.
The Jakarta Government provides a total bonus of 9.5 billion with details:
- Individual Gold worth Rp 200 million, Individual Silver 100 million rupiah, and Individual Bronze 60 million
- Double Gold worth Rp 200 million, Double Silver Rp 80 million, and
Double Bronze Rp 60 million- Gold team Rp 100 million, Silver team Rp 50.5 million, and Bronze team Rp 30.5 million
