Hundreds of National Team (Timnas) athletes from 14 sports who competed in the Sea Games took part in a procession along a number of roads in Jakarta.

Youth and Sports Minister, Dito Arotedjo said the procession was attended by hundreds of athletes from various sports such as volleyball, football, aquatics, wrestling, martial arts, and e-sports. It aimed to greet the Indonesian people who have supported and escorted the National Team's struggles in the 2023 SEA Games.
"From 14 sports, our athletes have brought 87 gold medals and it should be celebrated. This is higher than the government's target of 60-69 gold medals," he stated, Friday (5/19).

PSSI Chairperson, Erick Thohir, who took part in the procession, was pleased with the efforts and results obtained by the Garuda Muda Squad in the 2023 Sea Games.
He invited the public to revive Indonesian football with a mental revolution, starting with football.
"Let's revive Indonesian football. We are the mental revolution of football," he asserted.
Maman (53), a resident of West Bekasi, admitted that he was very enthusiastic about watching the parade activities for the Indonesian National Team which had won many gold medals in the 2023 Sea Games.
"This is my chance to see idols and support them. I idolize Rizky Ridho," he admitted.
Ahmad Sobari (41), a resident of RW 09, Johar Baru said the same thing. He hopes to see Marselino and Arhan in person at this procession.
"I found out about this pageant from social media. I've been preparing since yesterday for all the attributes that I brought today," he uttered.
He hoped that the U-22 National Team's first win since 32 years ago could be maintained.
"I hope this title can be maintained in the future," he stressed.
As for the information, the parade started from the Youth and Sports Ministry Building on Jalan Gerbang Pemuda to Jalan Gatot Subroto at around 8.40 AM.
Then the procession continued towards Jalan Sudirman, precisely at Hotel Indonesia, then turned around and ended at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium around 11 AM.
