Jakarta Acting Governor Heru Budi Hartono attended a friendly gathering with mothers in Jakarta.

With the theme 'Purify the Heart, Establish Friendship, Happiness in Togetherness', this gathering activity was attended by members of Family Welfare Empowerment Mobilization Team (TP PKK), Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP), and Jakarta Regional National Handicrafts Council (Dekranasda). It took place at Candi Bentar Hall, Putri Duyung Ancol, North Jakarta, Tuesday (5/23).

On that occasion, the Acting Governor appreciated the presence of various leading figures from TP-PKK, Dekranasda, and DWP at their time. They were namely Rini Sutiyoso, Tatik Fauzi Bowo, Veronica Tan, Happy Djarot, Fery Farhati, Tri Sumarsono, Endang Prianto, Nur Asia Sandiaga Uno, Ellisa Sumarlin, Wien Ritola, Wenny Muhayat, Ani Fadjar Panjaitan, and Rusmiati Saefullah.

"We must continue their thoughts that have been given to us. Our appreciation also goes to ladies and gentlemen here who have become government partners in fostering organizations and empowering women, to realize the welfare of families and the people of Jakarta," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

According to him, the many sacrifices of the driving mothers who not only ensured the welfare of the family, but also the welfare of the community, so it needed to be appreciated and continued to be supported. He was sure that Jakarta TP PKK and DWP could work together in aligning local government programs.

"Hopefully, TP PKK will become a driving force in creating a quality family that contributes to the surrounding environment. Also, the success of various government programs. Likewise with DWP which has a big role to support the resilience of ASN families, through implementing a simple lifestyle in order to prevent acts that are against the law," he explained.

He also urged Jakarta Dekranasda to continue to be consistent in fostering artisans in Jakarta to increase creativity, in producing quality handicraft products, thus they have high selling value.

"I leave a message to ladies and gentlemen that Jakarta will host the Governor level and also the President level at the 2023 ASEAN Summit. Hopefully, we can present ideas or thoughts related to MSME development when the event takes place," he added.

In this activity, the Acting Governor was accompanied by Jakarta TP PKK and Jakarta Dekranasda Acting Chairwoman, Mirdiyanti; Assistant Government City Secretary, Sigit Widjatmoko; Assistant for People's Welfare, Widyastuti; and North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim.
