He has demonstrated a clean, transparent and quality government
According to him, he had demonstrated an efficient and effective leadership.
"As a technocrat who has a very open mind, he has demonstrated a clean, transparent and quality government," he expressed, or called Agustinus Tetiro to journalists in Jakarta, Tuesday (5/23).
Heru Appreciates Services of Pademangan Sub-district Health CenterIt is known that since his inauguration as Acting Governor, the public in the capital city has rated his performance as satisfactory based on a survey by the Nusantara Strategic Network (NSN), which shows that the level of public satisfaction with him has reached 64.5 percent. Meanwhile, only 23.8 percent were dissatisfied and the remaining 11.7 percent did not know or answer.
According to him, he had shown several achievements directly related to government work and preparation of Jakarta to become a global city, especially after the nation's capital was moved to IKN Nusantara. He managed to maintain the dynamics that happened in Jakarta.
He asserted the reactivation of in-person and offline public complaint posts at City Hall and some spots is proof that he wants to open up inclusiveness for all. He is very aware of managing several ways of submitting complaints, criticisms, and suggestions from the wider community.
"It is interesting that he again activated a public complaint and at the same time he also opened his mind about green open spaces in Jakarta which are used as a vehicle for deliberation," he explained.
Even, he was also known as a figure who was able to embrace all elements of society.
He could sit together with all walks of life, from leaders of all religions, community organizations, and other very diverse community groups. This ability needs to be constantly nurtured given the complexity of life in Jakarta.
He is also a leader who is capable of building good relations between local governments and the central government, such as BUMN Ministry and PUPR Ministry in completing the three main tasks mandated by President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo, namely congestion, flood management, and spatial planning.
"We see and experience the better face of Jakarta today. He has aligned the performance of the regional government and the central government. Surely, it could happen, as he lacks practical political interests and inter-elite intrigue," he asserted.
He also has a clear and implementable development vision. It can be seen from his ideas set forth in Governor's Decree No. 292/2023 on Aspirations of Province "Sukses Jakarta untuk Indonesia (Jakarta's Success for Indonesia).
"There are nine ideal indicators from the Provincial Aspiration to achieve targets and carry out Jakarta Government's work program in a bid to make Jakarta a world-class city, because Jakarta is an area that represents Indonesia's progress in the eyes of the world," he continued.
Those nine indicators include:
1. Livable Cities Index
2. Bureaucratic Reform Index
3. Inclusive Economic Development Index
4. Human Development Index
5. Economic Growth Rate
6. Inflation Rate
7. Poverty Rate
8. Open Unemployment Rate
9. Gini ratio
"This is in line with the performance indicators for the 2023-2026 Regional Development Plan (RPD) and even in line with national indicators. It means that there is definitely a spirit of cooperation, synergy with the central government will be well established. This is also a strategy for dealing with transnationals in today's digital era," he closed.
