SME Bazaar's Turnover on Kelapa Island Touches Rp 13.5 Million

The sales transaction turnover of the SME Bazaar held in the courtyard of Kelapa Island Urban Village Office, North Seribu Islands, Seribu Islands from May 26-27, 2023 touched Rp 13.5 million.

Seribu Islands SME Cooperative Division Head, Syamsul Hidayat said the SME bazaar was attended by 25 coached entrepreneurs selling culinary, fashion, and staple products.
"This bazaar's biggest sales turnover comes from culinary products selling food and drinks, traditional cakes, and tekwan. The rest are food products offered by Perumda Pasar Jaya," he expressed, Monday (5/29).

This turnover is expected to help increase the income of entrepreneur and market their products.
"We once held this bazaar during Ramadan and will continue from May to June," he explained.
Maspupah Zayan Alpi (45), one of SMEs selling traditional cakes admitted that he managed to earn around Rp 500,000 in a day or Rp 1.1 million in two days.
He had received many benefits after becoming a coached SME (Jakpreneur). Among them were provided with entrepreneurial training, how to promote, market products to package products to make them more attractive.
"I'm very grateful, residents are quite enthusiastic. Hopefully, this activity will become an annual agenda considering it really helps us," he stated.
