Based on data from the Investment/Investment Coordinating Board Ministry (BKPM), Jakarta's investment realization in the January-March period (quarter I) 2023 exceeded Rp 36.5 trillion, consisting of Foreign Investment (PMA) by USD 1.2 billion or equivalent to Rp 17.5 trillion, and Domestic Investment (PMDN) by Rp 19.0 trillion.
"In aggregate, Jakarta's investment realization reached Rp 36.5 trillion in the first quarter of 2023, and it has contributed 11 percent to the achievement of national investment realization," expressed Jakarta PMPTSP Agency Head, Benni Aguscandra, Wednesday (6/7).

"These three sectors contribute 70 percent of the total investment realization in Jakarta in the first quarter of 2023," he expressed.
Based on the cumulative distribution of investment realization in the first quarter of 2023, the largest PMDN and FDI investment realization is in South Jakarta with an investment realization value by Rp 19.5 trillion, with details of PMDN by Rp 6.95 trillion and FDI by Rp 12.55 trillion.
He explained the high rate of investment realization in Jakarta is inseparable from the various innovations in investment services and ease of licensing/non-licensing, which were carried out by Jakarta PMPTSP Agency.
