She explained the fair in 2022 contributed Rp 7.5 trillion to city's economy. Hopefully, transactions in 2023 would increase with many people shopping. It certainly supports economic growth in Jakarta in terms of public consumption.

She also appreciated the fair organizers who provided opportunities for SMEs assisted by the Jakarta Government to participate in the event.

"It has become an annual routine event and we include it as an event that is held regularly to celebrate city's anniversary. In the future, more tenants will be able to join, including music events to attract more visitors which will also encourage tourism in Jakarta," she explained.

Tourism Industry Supervision Sub-Group Chairman, Aras Pamungkas admitted that he was optimistic that tourist visits would increase with the holding of the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran. Along with the revocation of the PPKM policy, events such as concerts and performing arts are finally back after being sluggish, including travel or horeca business (hotels, restaurants, and cafes).

"The challenge is how to invite tourists to come to Jakarta. Hopefully, the method of holding events or activating public spaces will attract local and foreign tourists to visit Jakarta," he concluded.

To further enliven it, his party would invite creative artists to hold a concert.

"Let's make a good plan together, so we can revive activities or events in Jakarta in particular," he closed.
