At that time, they visited the Mobile Training Unit (MTU) Training Facility, Job Training Workshop Industrial Development Job Training Center (Mechanical Technology and Refrigeration Engineering Vocational), as well as Jakpreneur Bazaar in the Coworking Space Building.
The Acting Governor appreciated all parties in the effort to produce young generations who are superior and have skills for their future life through the various trainings provided.
"Earlier I saw the work of the nation's children, that this is the result of training," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.
With sufficient provision, the participants would have high competitiveness in the world of work.
"Also, from this training, they can immediately get a job, or can try on their own, and so on," he explained.
Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency Head, Hari Nugroho said his party had opened various kinds of training including welding, computer training, and so on, totaling 21 classes. Approximately 420 participants wouls undergo training for 60 days and receive official certificates.
"So our residents who have Jakarta ID cards who are not yet working or who are experiencing post-layoffs are included in the training category. We educate them, train them, get certificates, can work in companies, and even become new entrepreneurs. We have no age limit for training, at least 17," he explained.
He also conveyed the Acting Governor's direction to modernize the equipment to be used for training. With qualified facilities, it was hoped that it would be more optimal in preparing a skilled workforce to keep up with the times.
"We need modernization of equipment. Because when the training is finished, we immediately carry out the certification. So once they work, they're not confused with the industrial world that the market wants today. The industry now has very advanced equipment. With the addition of modern equipment, those we educate will have certificates and will be used immediately in the industrial world," he said.
