US Embassy Front Sidewalk to Be Revitalized

The Jakarta Bina Marga Agency is set to carry out further coordination to revitalize the sidewalk in front of the US Embassy.

Thank God, the sidewalk in front of the American Embassy has been opened

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency Acting Head, Heru Suwondo stated the sidewalk in front of the US Embassy had not yet become part of the sidewalk revitalization on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan.

"Thank God, the sidewalk in front of the American Embassy has been opened. We're going to coordinate again with the US Embassy in order to soon revitalize the sidewalk as soon as possible," he expressed, Sunday (6/11).

Since it was closed in 2013, practically the Bina Marga Agency could not carry out any work to revitalize or repair the sidewalks.

"The sidewalk will have a guidding block in a bid to make disabled people comfortable," he explained.

His party appreciates and thanks all stakeholders, thus the sidewalk as a public facility can be used again by the community.

"We appreciate all those involved with the Acting Governor's full support to realize the reopening of the sidewalks in front of the US Embassy. This sidewalk is actually a facility for the community," he stressed.
