500 Trees in West Jakarta Pruned

The West Jakarta City Parks and Cemetery Sub-department has pruned 500 trees prone to fall at some points to prevent casualties and material loss due to fallen tree. It has been carried out since January-February.
Those pruned trees are located along Jalan Angke Jaya, Kota Tua, Jalan Tubagus Angke, Outer Ring Road, Kembangan, Jalan S Parman, Jalan Kyai Tapa, and Jalan Latumenten.

Arifin disclosed, the pruning aims to anticipate fallen tree due to strong winds. Moreover, the current weather is erratic. Another pruning will also be carried out in other areas, such as angsana trees that are located on Jalan Masjid At-Taqwa, RT 01/02, Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Kembangan.
