"Indocement buys the produce, which I told you yesterday at least USD 24 depending on the calorific value. Yesterday, we released the results, today I saw them and used them by Indocement," he asserted.
Jakarta Environment Agency Head, Asep Kuswanto explained PT Indocement needed around 2,500-3,000 tons of RDF per day. Seeing the large amount of waste, it would solve the waste problem in Jakarta.
"We, from the LH Agency are still very optimistic that we will be able to continue several RDF projects in the future. RDF shipments from Bantargebang are conducted every day. Today, sent 10 trucks," explained.
PT Indocement Director, Christian Kartawijaya uttered the use of RDF as an alternative fuel is still used abroad.
"This is not a dream project, Governor says it can be proven, and it is a real project. It has also been done in Europe and Turkey, and many other countries are using it to solve the waste problem, zero waste with a much cheaper investment compared to other methods," he said.
