Seribu Islands Residents Warmly Welcome Acting Governor's Visit

Hundreds of students and residents in Seribu Islands warmly welcomed Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Harsono, who visited the Pramuka Island, North Seribu Islands, Tuesday (7/25).

Shortly after arriving at Pramuka Island Pier, the Acting Governor, who came with City Secretary, Joko Agus Setyono and Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi was greeted with a fisherman-style welcoming dance, the Pulang Babang Dance.
While some residents and students lined up on the side of the pier to give warm greetings, then accompanied the Acting Governor and his entourage to Tanjung Elang RPTRA.
Acting Governor: Public Social Facilities on Pramuka Island Well Maintained and HelpfulAt Tanjung Elang RPTRA, he gave Baznas Bazis assistance to 93 orphans and poor people from Panggang Island and Pramuka Island. The assistance provided is in the form of compensation by Rp 500,000 per person.
He then visited RSUD, Regency Office, and SDN 02 Pagi, SMPN 133, and SMAN 69. During his visits to these three schools, he took time to hold dialogues, greet, and took photos with the students.
Anisyah (14), a tenth grade student from SMAN 69 admitted she was happy, as it was the first time she met thr Acting Governor and received a hat and t-shirt as a gift.
"Very happy, our class was visited by the Acting Governor. We also took a photo together. He motivates us to keep on learning," she admitted.
Similar statement also came out from another student from SMPN 133, Muhammad Nauval Hidayat (12). He admitted he never imagined that he would meet the Acting Governor in person and receive a bicycle prize, for successfully answering questions.
"This is a memory, I can't forget. I will use this bicycle prize to go to school," he stated.
The Acting Governor's visit also made a special impression on SMAN 69 Principal, Sugeng Wibowo. Moreover, when he was given the opportunity to dialogue directly.
"Hopefully, this visit can give encouragement to us and the children," he hoped.
Ardi (33), a resident of RT 01/04 Pramuka Island assessed the Acting Governor's visit is an honor for him and all residents of Seribu Islands.
"This visit is a form of the Acting Governor's concern for us," he stated.
