"This digital transaction or payment mechanism certainly contributes greatly to economic growth. This is reflected in QRIS users in Jakarta, which have reached 5.1 million," he explained.
According to him, digital financial transactions are also increasingly becoming an option with BI-Fast. The reason is transactions can be done anytime and anywhere.
"BI-Fast provides ease and speed of financial transactions. In fact, during holidays we can still make transactions, without time limits and the cost is very cheap, only Rp 2,500," he explained.
He added other innovations were also made through the Indonesian Credit Card (KKI) which had been launched some time ago.
"KKI can now be used by the government for transactions. Free of interest, both from the side of the user or consumer or seller or producer if you use this credit card," he continued.
No less important was that the Jakarta KPw BI as part of the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) has proven capable of reducing the inflation rate in Jakarta.
"I really appreciate the role of KPw BI, which is currently led by Mrs. Arlyana Abubakar in increasing economic growth and reducing the inflation rate in Jakarta. I'm optimistic that the economy in Jakarta will continue to grow and inflation will be maintained in the future," he stated.
