"Why don't build the 30-40 meters pipes from Katulampa to Jakarta. We could build them in the river plan yet we still don't understand. That's why we're asking them for help. If the pipes are already done, it could be a flood anticipation," he expressed.
Therefore, Ahok will consult with the President Joko Widodo related to Ciawi reservoirs construction. Moreover, the plan was suggested by Jokowi when he served as the Jakarta Governor.
"The reservoir could be used to reserve the water during the dry season. Yet it's much faster. Why don't just connect the pipes as the dam construction budget is too expensive. But we still don't understand the technical. We need those Dutchman to help us. We just need to wait if they say it makes sense,' he added.
