Putra explained, those poles are installed in Ulujami, Petogogan, Bidara Cina, Rawa Buaya, and Kampung Melayu Urban Villages. Each pole installed in three RWs at one village which is located on strategic and able to reach all places. "We got this poles grants from the Japanese company. And now, we're just waiting for speaker and its component," he said.
BPBD Held Simulation of Flood HandlingIn addition, he furthered, the Weather Modification Technology (TMC) would be re-installed as a step to reduce rainfall in the capital and its surrounding areas. The technology is likely to be used in December, precisely ahead of the peak of the rainy season which is predicted to hit January 2015.
"This year, we remain use the TMC, but it depends on early warning that will be analyzed by the BMKG. If the rainfall is high, the TMC will be used," he told.
He added fund for TMC installation spends Rp 20 billion. "Usually, the TMC has begun to be used in December. If it is needed, we will take fund from the City Budget (APBD)," he uttered.
