City Awaits for President's Approval to Build Athlete's Guesthouse

As reported before, Jakarta Provincial Government will build athlete's guesthouse for 2018 Asean Games. The project that planned to be built in Kemayoran is still awaiting approval from Mr. President; Joko Widodo due to land that will be used for the project is the property of State Secretariat (Setneg).

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat said, the guesthouse construction in Kemayoran already agreed in joint meeting of Economy Coordinator Ministry, last Thursday (3/12).

Hyosung, Korean Company Interested Join in Project of Athlete GuesthouseFurthermore, Djarot said, Jakarta Governor was sent letter to president in order to manage land in Kemayoran. But, the construction will be given to PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as one of Provincial-Owned Enterprises.
"We will build it immediately. The concept was given to City Government because the Jakarta Governor was sent letter to the President asking the land management from State Secretariat," Djarot uttered.
The land with total area reaches 11 hectares is considered suitable to build guesthouse because it not used as illegal settlements.
