Jakarta Environment Agency (LH) Head, Asep Kuswanto called on the whole community to undergo emission tests of their private vehicles, either cars or motorbikes that are over three years. There were 335 car workshops and 106 motorbike workshops in Jakarta that were ready to carry out this emission test.

He urged vehicle owners to immediately undergo emission tests, as Polda Metro Jaya will take action against those who do not take part in or fail to pass the emission test on September 1, 2023.
The imposition of sanctions by the provisions of Law Number 22/2009 on Traffic and Road Transportation is in the form of a fine, which is Rp 250,000 for motorbikes and Rp 500,000 for cars.
